Exports from Indonesia surged 53.35 percent from a year earlier to an-time high of USD 22.03 billion in October of 2021, beating market consensus of a 46.85 percent rise and after a 47.64 percent rise in the prior month, amid further rising commodity prices. Sales of non-oil and gas exports jumped by 52.75 percent to USD 21 billion; while oil and gas exports surged by 66.84 percent to USD 1.03 billion, amid higher shipments in crude oils (15.42 percent), oil products (15.24 percent), and gas (93.93 percent). Considering the first ten months of the year, exports grew by 41.80 percent from the same period of 2020.
