Schweden Bip-Wachstum

The Swedish economy stalled on a quarterly basis in the three months to March 2025, following a 0.8% expansion in the previous period, preliminary estimates showed. This marked the weakest economic performance since the contraction in the fourth quarter of 2023. According to Mattias Kain Wyatt, an economist at Statistics Sweden, economic activity picked up in March, offsetting contractions in January and February. On an annual basis, GDP grew by 1.1%, slowing from 2.4% in the previous quarter, which had marked the fastest pace of growth since the third quarter of 2022.
