Food prices in Kazakhstan surged by 24.4% from a year earlier in November of 2022, the highest since September of 2008, after rising by 23.3% in the previous month. Notable price growth was recorded for items such as sugar (69.7%), bananas (45.8%), bakery products and cereals (32.8%) and milk products (30%).
