Bosnien-Herzegowina Verbraucherpreise

The annual inflation rate in Bosnia and Herzegovina edged lower to 3.2% in March 2025 from over one-year high of 3.5% in the previous month. This marked the lowest inflation rate since December 2024, as deflation worsened for transport (-3.1% vs -0.4% in February). Moreover, prices eased for alcoholic beverages and tobacco (3.9% vs 5.6%), health (6.3% vs 6.8%), recreation and culture (3.1% vs 3.4%), restaurants and hotels (5.8% vs 5.9%), and miscellaneous goods and services (2.8% vs 3.3%). On the other hand, costs accelerated for food and non-alcoholic beverages (7.8% vs 7.2%) and housing and utilities (0.6% vs 0.4%), while it remained unchanged for communication (0.2%) and education (0.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices stalled in March 2025 from 0.7% in the previous month.
