Canada’s manufacturing sales are expected to decline by 1.3% month-over-month in May 2025, following a 2.8% drop in April. Preliminary data points to sharp declines across the petroleum and coal products, transportation equipment, and food products subsectors. If confirmed, this would mark the fourth consecutive monthly contraction.
