The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Taiwan stood at 3.36% in April 2025, unchanged from the previous month. The number of unemployed persons decreased by 2 thousand to 403 thousand, while employment fell by 3 thousand to 11.616 million. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, which measures job seekers aged 20 to 24, fell to 11.30% from a five-month high of 11.35% in March 2025. The labor force participation rate remained unchanged at 59.34% in April 2025.
