Schweden Neue Aufträge

Total orders received by the Swedish industry rose by 7.2% year-on-year in September 2025, following an upwardly revised 7.8% jump in August. Orders received from customers in Sweden increased by 2.6% (vs 3.5% in August) and orders received from customers abroad soared 10.8% (vs 10.5%). Biggest increases were seen in orders for chemicals and pharmaceutical products (93.7%) and non-durable consumer goods (55.2%) while the biggest declines were recorded in the industry for manufacture of electrical equipment (-38.6%) and basic metals (-14.7%). Compared to the previous month, total orders decreased by 2.6%. So far this year, total orders in industry have been 5.8% higher than the corresponding period in 2024. The domestic market has increased by 0.5% and the export market jumped 9.5%.
