Portugal Verbraucherpreise

The annual inflation rate in Portugal rose to 2.1% in April of 2025 from the seven-month low of 1.9% in the previous month, according to a flash estimate. Higher inflation was broad-based among most sectors of the Portuguese consumer basket, amid increases in unprocessed food (3.27% vs 2.77% in March) and other items excluding housing (1.95% vs 1.69%). Still, energy costs eased by 0.1% to erase a similar increase in the previous month. From March, consumer prices rose by 1.3%.
