Finnland Verbraucherpreise

The annual inflation rate in Finland held steady at 0.5% in April 2025 for the second consecutive month, remaining at its lowest level since December 2020. Upward price pressures came from several categories, including food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.3% vs 2.6% in March), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.3% vs 4.6%), furnishings and household maintenance (1.3% vs 0.7%), health (8.1% vs 7.5%), communication (2.6% vs 3.9%), recreation and culture (2.1% vs 1.1%), education (2.6% vs 2.9%), and restaurants and hotels (1.7% vs 1.6%). In contrast, prices declined for clothing and footwear (-0.2% vs 0.3%), housing (-2.6% vs -2.0%), transport (-0.2% vs -1.0%), and miscellaneous goods and services (-0.3% vs -0.2%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices were virtually unchanged, slipping just 0.02%, following a 0.04% dip in March.
