The GDP in the Euro Area expanded 1.4% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2025, slightly lower than 1.5% in Q1, and in line with the first estimate. Among countries for which data is available, Ireland recorded the biggest growth (16.2%), followed by Cyprus (3.3%), Lithuania (3%), Spain (2.8%), Portugal (1.9%), Netherlands (1.5%), Belgium (1%), Slovenia (0.8%), France (0.7%), Slovakia (0.6%), Estonia (0.5%), Finland (0.5%), Germany (0.4%), and Italy (0.4%).
