Eurozone Veränderung der Beschäftigung

The number of employed persons in the Euro area rose by 0.2% from the previous quarter to 171.627 million in the first three months of 2025, less than preliminary estimates of a 0.3% rise. It was the 16th consecutive period of employment expansion. In the broad EU, employment was unchanged. Croatia (+1.0%) and Spain (+0.8%) recorded the highest growth of employment. The highest declines of employment were recorded in Romania (-2.1%), Estonia (-0.8%), Lithuania and Poland (both -0.6%). Also, employment rose in Italy (+0.7%), but it was flat in Germany and declined by 0.3% in France. On an annual basis, Eurozone employment growth rose by 0.7%.
